PROJECT STATEMENT:

Tangible explores generational differences in mental health and the impact of modern technology. Using a historic photographic technique like wet plate collodion, it produces glass negatives and aluminum positives.

This project highlights how dependence on digital devices affects our mental health. Neuroscientist Kelly Lambert explains that our brain rewards us with well-being when we engage in manual tasks. Tangible invites reflection on the balance between technology and mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of mindful practices to face the challenges of a digitalized world.
