Analogue. Digital. Tangible.
Photography that innovates using alternative processes, vintage digital techniques, and modern creativity
MY WORK
ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography with Process and Purpose
I am a Dutch photographer living life between Madrid and Sydney. My work focuses on the material and technical aspects of photography, using analogue and historical processes to explore how images are made and understood in an increasingly digital world. I combine 19th-century methods with vintage and modern digital tools to examine how technology shapes perception, memory, and emotional connection.
My recent projects examine the relationship between process, history, and contemporary relevance. Themes such as conflict, memory, and European identity recur throughout my work, alongside a growing interest in how modern technology affects attention, mental well-being, and the way we experience time.
